Financial Protection and Booking Conditions

Last Modified: October 2022

This page will tell you about us and how we create your holiday with you. The tabs contain the information you need to know and details our Booking Conditions and links to our GDPR obligations to you.

“NEI UK” and “NEI UK to…” are trading names of “Wales Beckons Ltd” (Reg in England and Wales, Company No. 9662852) with whom all bookings are made. We do not supply any flights and none are included in our tour prices.

“Wales Beckons Ltd” is a small company and one to which providing a very high standard of service is of paramount importance. We make sure this is achieved by us appointing and working with only the very best suppliers and  partners. By working closely with such partners you can be assured of receiving only the very best attention to detail which in turn ensures that each and every one of our travellers enjoys the very best holiday we are able to arrange for them, whether it be to Wales, or, to our overseas destiantions.

Being a small company we are infinitely flexible. We do not produce a glossy brochure although we can provide literature for any of our destinations if that is requested. This saves the cost of producing large numbers of brochures which all too quickly go out of date. These days PDFs usually suffice, but our suggestions for set tours are usually varied because the vast majority of our travellers prefer to avail themselves of our unbeatable ‘tailor made’ service. These holidays are no more costly and can actually work out cheaper. By working with you on such holidays, we are able to take into account the very latest prices and offers being made by hotels and our other service providers.

Our flexibility and the constant requests received by clients to suggest another destination to them since they had thoroughly enjoyed a previous holiday arranged by us, is one reason why our portfolio of destinations has grown over the years. Apart from India, Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet, the lovely island of Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia, Sabah (Malaysian Borneo) and its Orang Utans, Costa Rica and Peru in Central and South America, Burma (Myanmar), the Silk Road country of Uzbekistan are all destinations we find ourselves arranging holidays for our clients. We always welcome enquiries about any destination for it is always likely that through our contacts we will be able to arrange a holiday in your destination of choice.

All credit card companies charge high commissions to travel companies and for this reason we do not accept credit or debit card payments. It is however possible for payment to be made by credit card via a bank transfer arranged through your own bank. Alternatively payment by cheque, or, on-line direct bank transfer is also very easy in these days of on-line transactions.

We do not collect personal information about our clients and any information obtained by us in the process of arranging your holiday will be retained safely and never disclosed to any third party, in full accordance with current GDPR regulations. We might at some stage use the information we hold to contact you again to advise you of any special offers which we believe might be of interest to you. If you would prefer us not to contact you again, please let us know.

“Wales Beckons” will always accommodate you in best quality hotels which give a flavour of the country you are visiting. In India, these can be converted palaces and forts, or, boutique hotels and Home Stays. Occasionally, only modern hotels are available in a given location and we select the best of those.
