SUGGESTED ITINERARY to include all three countries in one super trip
Day 1: Hanoi You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel for a two night stay in this fascinating city.
Day 2: Hanoi Enjoy a guided city tour of Hanoi, also known as the “Paris of the East.” A traditional cycle tour through the narrow, ancient streets of the exotic Old Quarter is a great way to soak up the sights and sounds.
Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay Drive to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise through thousands of limestone islands on a traditional ‘junk’. In the evening enjoy a seafood dinner before retiring to your cabin for the night.
Day 4: Halong Bay to Hoi An Enjoy lunch as you cruise back to the harbour, then drive to Noi Bai airport for a flight to Danang and transfer to the charming Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An A guided walking tour of Hoi An town, then take a short boat trip to visit handicraft villages or a cooking class in a beautiful villa on the banks of the river. The afternoon is free to relax on the beach orshop in town.
Day 6: Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh City Fly to Ho Chi Minh City and afternoon guided tour of the highlights of this cosmopolitan city. In the evening, a cruise down the Saigon River, complete with local entertainment and a fantastic traditional and international buffet dinner.
Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City - Cao Dai temple - Cu Chi Tunnels Morning visit to the fascinating Cao Dai Temple, home to a unique religion. From the temple continue on to the infamous Cu Chi tunnels before returning to the city for a free afternoon.
Day 8: Mekong Delta Depart Ho Chi Minh City for the Mekong Delta. Full day trip includes a cruise in a traditional sampan, with stops at interesting sights. Lunch at a French villa on the riverbank, returning to Saigon in the late afternoon.
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Reap - Temples of Angkor Fly to Siem Reap in Cambodia, your base for the next three days. Afternoon visiting the amazing and awe inspiring temples of Angkor with plenty of time to tour Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples.
Day 10: Siem Reap - Temples of Angkor Spend the next two days exploring the Angkor temples, witness the splendour of these magnificent creations, with a surprise around every corner.
Day 11: Banteay Srey and Angkor National Museum
Day 12: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh Fly to the capital, Phnom Penh and enjoy an afternoon city tour of the main sites.
These three countries truly form the ‘South East Asia Triangle’
Each fascinating in their own right, our tour takes in all three countries and gives you time to absorb some of their very different cultures. Our recommendation is that you go to Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia as soon as you can, before the intrusion of Western culture alters them too much.

Day 13: Phnom Penh - Vientiane Bid farewell to Cambodia and fly to Vientiane. Enjoy a city tour taking in some of the main sights and watch the sunset over the Mekong River.
Day 14: Vientiane – Luang Prabang Fly to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang, set amongst forested mountains and dotted with golden temples that are home to saffron robed monks. This afternoon you will enjoy a historic walking tour of this quaint town.
Day 15: Luang Prabang If you wish, rise early for the silent morning procession of monks collecting alms. Later in the morning enjoy a boat cruise on the Mekong River to the holy caves of Pak Ou. You will be well and truly relaxed after spending time in Luang Prabang, the perfect place to end your Indochina tour.
Day 16: Depart Luang Prabang Spend the morning at leisure before you are transferred to the airport for your return flight.

VIETNAM & CAMBODIA HIGHLIGHTS
DAY 1 HA NOI ARRIVAL (-/-/-) On your arrival at the Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver who will bring you to Hanoi City. Hanoi is over 1000 years old and is currently the capital of Vietnam as well the commercial, political, and cultural heart of the country. Check in hotel and remainder of the day free at leisure. Overnight in Ha Noi
DAY 2 HA NOI CITY TOUR (B/L/-) A city tour of Hanoi starts with a visit to the One-Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, drive to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Walk down the tree lined boulevards where we see many French influences such as Hanoi Opera House, the State Bank, the former Governor's palace, and Hanoi St. Joseph's Cathedral built in the late 19th century. Then, on to see the unique and intriguing Water Puppet Show, held on the Red River Delta. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 3 HA NOI – HA LONG (B/L/D) Pick up at hotel for three and a half hours road trip with short refreshment to Halong Bay. Arrive at Bai Chay Wharf T & transfer to the Marguerite Junk boat, check in to cabins and begin cruise. Arrive at the Surprise Cave area & transfer by tender. Further activities inc luce kayaking, swimming, or relaxing, cookery classes and Vietnamese dinner int he evening.
DAY 4 HA LONG – HA NOI – FLIGHT TO HUE (BRUNCH/-) Early morning coffee, tea and light breakfast pastries served in the dining room, then a boat ride to the tunnel cave. Relax on sundeck while our boat cruise back on different route to Hanoi. Enjoy Set Menu lunch served in the dining room while enjoy the bay scenery as you approach the pier. Transfer back to Hanoi, arriving approx 16:30 hrs. Then, you will be transferred to Noi Bai Airport to catch the flight to Hue City in the central region of Vietnam. Overnight in Hue
DAY 5 HUE CITY TOUR (B/L/-) A city tour will start with the boat trip down the romantic Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest and most beautiful pagodas in Hue. Then continue by car visiting the Imperial Citadel, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site since 1993. The Citadel includes the Imperial City and Forbidden City. Enjoy the various palaces, ornate halls, libraries, residences, colleges, Flag Tower and Noon Gate. In the afternoon, we will start our journey by heading to the outskirts of Hue to explore the Tu Duc Tomb & Khai Dinh Tomb. Finally, back to your hotel and to spend the night in Hue.
DAY 6 HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN (B/L/-) Out of ancient Hue and into a more modern setting of Da Nang then onto the exotic Hoi An. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to take pictures at the summit of Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass. Finally, you will head to Hoi An, another UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. We will take a casual walk to tour the Chinese Assembly Halls, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the old family houses all of which have been sensitively preserved. The rest of day is free to explore Hoi An by yourself or go shopping. Overnight in Hoi An
DAY 7 HOI AN – DA NANG – FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH (B/L/-) Leave Central Vietnam and head for the more fast-paced modernised city of Ho Chi Minh City, formally known as “Saigon”. We drive back to Da Nang to catch the flight to Ho Chi Minh where you will be picked up and brought to check into your hotel. The tour starts with a visit to the imposing Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat). Next we will go to the Notre Dame Cathedral, the famous Saigon Post Office, the largest functioning post office in Vietnam and designed and built by Gustave Eiffel who also designed and built the Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty. After the history and culture, you can do some shopping at the Ben Thanh Market. The rest of the night is yours to venture out on your own or take it easy and relax in your hotel room.
DAY 8 HCMC – CAI BE FLOATING MARKET – CAN THO (B/L/-) Your guide and driver will pick up at your hotel for Cai Be town. Upon arrival, board a private boat to cruise around Cai Be Floating Market to see local people selling, buying, exchanging goods from their boats. Visit local garden and house to see orchard, rice crisp producing process. After lunch taking a cruise along river to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire marvellous natural setting of Mekong Delta region. Drive to Can Tho city. Overnight in Can Tho
DAY 9 CAN THO – CAI RANG – THOT NOT – CHAU DOC (B/L/-) Morning cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries by rowing boat to Cai Rang floating. Take in the daily life along the Mekong River and roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. Travel by land to Chau Doc, passing Thot Not & visit Bang Lang Bird Sanctuary (Stork Garden) or Crocodile Farm. On arrival at Chau Doc, visit the Sam mountain to enjoy the a breath-taking view and enjoy the sunset on the top of Sam Mountain. Overnight in Chau Doc.
DAY 10 CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH (B/L/-) After breakfast at hotel, transfer to boat station for Speed Boat to Phnom Penh. Welcomed by your guide on arrival and transfer to hotel for check-in. Afternoon visit Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, Friendship monument, Independence monument and National Garden Park. Overnight Phnom Penh.
DAY 11 PHNOM PENH (B/L/-) Morning visit Wat Phnom and National fine-art Museum. After lunch at local restaurant depart to visit Toul Sleng S21, the witness of Pol Pot genocidal regime and Cheuong Ek Killing fields. Overnight Phnom Penh.
DAY 12 PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (B/L/-) Morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Pick up on arrival and transfer to check in hotel. Afternoon, see the Roluos Group, a collection of monuments that represent the remains of the first major capital of the Khmer Empire and visit the popular Angkor Ta Prohm Temple. The jungle that weaves itself protectively through and around the ruins creates a mystical and awesome sight and atmosphere. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 13 SIEM REAP (B/L/-) Morning enter the South Gate of Angkor Thom Temple and marvel the wonders of the eerie Bayon, the terrace of Elephants and terrace of Leper King. In afternoon, visit the famous Angkor Wat, built in the early 12th century as the state temple and capital city. The largest and best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre—first Hindu, then Buddhist—since its foundation. In the evening, enjoy the superb view of sunset from Phnom Bakheng hill. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 14 PHNOM PENH DEPARTURE (B/-/-) After breakfast at the Hotel, free day free for shopping until time for pick up and transfer to airport for departure.
