To many, the country of Nepal is synonymous with trekking and back-packing, but there is more to this fascinating country than mountains and long walks. Yes, we can arrange for you to trek in Nepal and are happy to do so, but over  the years we have found that our clients want more than just  a walk in the hills.

We would also like you to see more, such as the interesting cities of Kathmandu and Pokhara.

The Chitwan National Park with its wide variety of wildlife, including tigers, and riding in a howdah on an elephant's back, viewing birds, black rhinos, antelopes, etc., is a trip never to be forgotten.

NEI (UK) can arrange 'soft' treks, taking in Chitwan and one or two of Nepal's cities, together with a short trek, which would not involve camping.

One of the most mysterious countries in the world, Tibet is still

largely unknown to Western visitors.

NEI (UK) arrange visits to Tibet, via Nepal, travelling by road to Lhasa and then flying back to Kathmandu.

Starting from Kathmandu, via the Friendship Bridge and travelling by road to Lhasa, visiting the cities of Shigatse and Gyantse on the way.  While in Lhasa you will visit the various monasteries, including Drepung and Sera and the Jo-Khang Temple in the centre of Lhasa. Of course a trip t o Lhasa would not be complete without a visit to the famous monastery palace of the Potala and the Norbu Lingka Summer Palace on t he outskirts of the city.

Due to the nature of the country and the different standards of accommodation and the varying requirements of our clients, it is best to contact us to discuss where in Tibet you wish to go and what most interests you about the country.

We can then help you put together the tour you want

We can arrange ‘tailor made’ tours to Tibet and it is possible for you - like many of our clients - to join a consolidated tour, organised by our agents in Kathmandu.
