Bhutan is an incredible country, which despite much contact with the outside world, still holds its traditions very dear, with the population steadfastly wearing their national costume every day.
Bhutan is best for trekking and wildlife viewing and also visits to various Tibetan Lamaist monasteries. Bhutan is famous for its religious festivals and many of our tours take advantage of these.
We also offer holidays to the Himalayan country of Nepal, including treks to various mountain areas, to Chitwan National Park with its fascinating wildlife, including the one horned Asian Rhino, short stays to Kathmandu city and travel along the Buddhist Trail from India.
Tibet, despite not being the country it once was - its famous remote isolation is no longer true - is, nonetheless, still a fascinating place to visit. Many of the ancient places and buildings are still in existence and the Tibetan people are friendly and pleased to see you. We recommend a road journey from Kathmandu to Lhasa and back again, which visits many famous towns and cities along the ancient road into Tibet.
